About the Event

The evening Includes the chance to fully unwind both mind and body in a full hour of Yin & Nidra, led by RYT200 Michelle Brink, followed up with creating 4 of your very own custom Bath Teas, guided by Brittany with Just B Clean Yin Nidra unites two powerful ways to relax by combining Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. You will be guided through some yin yoga postures to help deeply lengthen your muscles and connective tissue encasing joints and all muscle, helping improve joint mobility and overall flexibility. You can expect a slow and more passive class designed to encourage flexibility and complete relaxation. In a Yin Yoga Class, postures are held for longer periods of time, (3 - 7 minutes) to target deep into the connective tissue. Nidra can be translated to yogic sleep, laying comfortably on your mat, Michelle will guide you through a restful mediation where students approach a similar state of sleep whilst retaining a sense of wakeful awareness. Yoga Nidra can be an excellent way to counter stress and prevent stress-related illness. Think of "Nidra" as an extended Savasana ♥

What to Bring: Yoga Mat, Blanket, Pillow or a Bolster, Water. Dress in Comfortable, cozy layers ♥

From Red Deer take highway 11a towards Sylvan Lake (past Blue Grass Garden Center) Head up the first big hill to range road 281 and turn right (north). Go 3/4 of the way down the road to Township road 391A and turn right. The road will Y and stay right into the yard. Head to the red barn!
